This piece is a long-winded research piece about one of my favorite movies: The Fighter. The Fighter is certainly no academic film but a lot of its themes are extremely pertinent and can be seriously regarded in an academic discussion: so that’s what I did. Here is a completely unironic academic look into the family that stands at the forefront of The Fighter.

This research piece took me an incredibly long time, and I’m pretty happy with what I was able to put together here. This could also be a sample for a long-form research piece.
